We stand behind every item we source. Here's exactly what to do if something isn't right.
Items sourced from established UK retailers (Primark, M&S, Next, H&M, Clarks, Boots, Holland & Barrett). CEX carries a 24-month warranty; Cash Generator items carry a 12-month warranty.
Store credit — no return needed
Send us photos or video evidence of the fault. Once verified, we'll issue store credit to your account within 48 hours. No need to return the item.
Replacement or store credit
We'll send a replacement on your next shipment, or issue full store credit — your choice. Evidence required (photos/video). Report within 30 days of delivery.
Warranty return process
You cover shipping from Nigeria to our UK address. We handle the rest — assessment, repair or replacement, and return shipping to Nigeria. We'll confirm our UK address when you open a case.
CEX Warranty Note
All CEX items include a 24-month warranty backed by CeX UK. We manage the entire warranty process on your behalf — you don't need to contact CeX directly.
Important — Please Read Before Buying
Items marked Facebook Marketplace are sourced from private sellers, not established retailers. They are pre-owned and carry no manufacturer or retailer warranty. Our team inspects each item before purchase, but condition may vary. Only buy if you are comfortable with the limitations described below.
Despite the above, we still protect you within the following limits:
Fault within 7 days
Full refund to original payment method. We'll arrange collection at no cost to you.
Fault within 30 days
Store credit for the full delivered price. Evidence of the fault required.
IMEI issues (phones)
Full refund if a phone is blacklisted, network-locked contrary to listing, or fails our IMEI check. No time limit.
Not Covered
Physical damage (cracked screens, liquid damage), cosmetic wear, or change of mind are not covered. All sales are final once 30 days have passed.
For some issues, a local repair in Nigeria is faster and cheaper than an international warranty return. Here's our honest guidance:
Battery replacement
Screen replacement (if not under warranty claim)
Charging port repair
Motherboard / logic board failure
Water damage (major)
£20 Repair Contribution
For warranted items with a fault that can be reasonably repaired locally, ShopFromUK will contribute up to £20 (equivalent in Naira at the day's rate) toward your repair cost. You must provide a receipt from a registered repair shop, and the fault must be covered under your item's warranty terms.
Take clear photos or a short video showing the fault. For phones, also note the IMEI (dial *#06#).
Email support@shopfromuk.com with subject line: 'Fault Report — [Order ID]'. Include your order number, a description of the issue, and your evidence.
We'll respond within 48 hours (usually same day, Mon–Sat) with next steps specific to your item and value tier.
If a return is required, we'll send you a prepaid return label or our UK address, depending on the case.
